CEEP Joint Statement on Improved Transparency of Interactions

CEEP, together with eurelectric, IETA and EFET, presented a joint statement on improved transparency the EU’s carbon market and climate and energy policies.

The Statement was released ahead of the 2nd informal trilogue on the Regulation on the Governance of the Energy Union. The Groups called for transparency at Member State and Union level.

The Joint Statement also emphasises the need for “coherent and streamlined energy and climate policies” to allow a robust, market driven carbon abatement signal to emerge.
