Take part in Jean Monnet’s summer school in France, 10th – 13th July

Jean Monnet Association, associated with European Movement in France, invites the students from all over Europe to the event Citizen, Transnational and Democratic Consultations at Jean Monnet House from 10th to 13th July 2018.

Designed for undergraduate students (aged at 18-22) from all the academic fields, these 4-days event will take place in an iconic location: the former house of Jean Monnet, historical cradle of the European construction, where the idea of ​​a united Europe took its first steps towards reality.

The first preparatory phase will consist in trainings on the major European issues alongside renowned scholars and influent stakeholders. During the second phase, the participants will take part in the organization of the citizen consultations by taking over the role of rapporteur, chair, assessor or press officer.

Within a few days, the applicants will be contacted by the Association to know if they have been selected.

Where: Houjarray – 7 chemin du Vieux Pressoir 78490 Bazoches-sur-Guyonne, Paris area (France)

When: 10th-13th July 2018

Who: Students from all around Europe and from all academic fields. Scholars and influential stakeholders in the field of European Affairs. Common citizens from all professional and social backgrounds living in the Paris area.

Cost: Travel costs to Paris will be at participants’ expense + participation fee of 80 euros. Jean Monnet Association covers conferences/trainings and students’ living costs (meals, accommodation, public transport and visits in Paris).
