European Greens are thrilled to welcome you to our 30th European Green Party Council in Finland’s third biggest city Tampere between 8-10 November. It will be a unique opportunity to meet Green leaders from across Europe in one of Finland’s Greenest municipalities, share best practices and chart a way forward as they stand on the cusp of a new decade.

Together with their Finnish colleagues, they would like to gather in Tampere to reflect on these achievements and discuss how they can spread the Green Wave even further. They will be able to look back at the spectacular results at the European elections of their member parties in Germany, France, Belgium, the UK, Ireland and Denmark, to name only a few, and examine the common thread that unites them together in a bigger European Green family.

This year has marked an incredible shift for Green party fortunes across Europe. They have experienced unprecedented growth and proved ourselves to be a very competent political force capable of seizing the moment and driving through political transformation. They urge delegates to join them in Tampere between 8-10 November for this important Council, which will help shape the direction of the Green family at this critical juncture in Europe’s political landscape.
