College of Europe: Start of the admission period for 2020/21

With the start of the new legislative period the seats of both the European Parliament and the EU-Commission are being redistributed, with College of Europe graduates regularly finding themselves in key positions. A prominent example is designated vice-president of the Commission, Margaritis Schinas. This happens far from fortuitously: those that choose to engage in a Master’s degree program at the College of Europe, receive a high-class education with a strong practical dimension and become part of a truly European community.

The Europe-wide admission period for the academic year 2020/21 of the College of Europe starts now. University graduates from Germany may apply for one of the c.a. 30 scholarships, offered by the Bundesregierung and the federal states, until 15 January, 2020. Awarding is conducted by the European Movement Germany e.V. (EBD).

The College of Europe is the oldest and most renowned European University institute for post-graduate studies on the EU. Since its founding in 1949, many thousands of college graduates have started successful careers in European and international institutions, parliaments, NGOs, and the private sector. At the College of Europe campuses in Bruges, Belgium and Natolin, Poland, students are living and learning together in a one of a kind international atmosphere.

Annually, circa 470 highly qualified students from universities in over 50 countries study at the College of Europe and are able to experience Europe from close-up. Over the course of 10 months, they are taught bilingually (in English and French) by professors from all around the world and insiders from the EU-Institutions. In Bruges, masters in the fields of law, economics, politics & governance, as well as international relations & diplomacy are offered. The Natolin campus focuses on interdisciplinary studies. All offered programs allow for various specializations.

Entry Requirements:
• Completed university education law, economic or political sciences, public administration, international relations, European studies, history, philosophy, communication science, journalism, social sciences, linguistics, geography, or related fields
• Excellent command of French and English

Applications for the academic year 2020/21 can be submitted until 15 January, 2020.
