Eurofound and SOLIDAR are organising a conference on “Facing new challenges: How social innovation contributes to active inclusion”, to take place at the European Economic and Social Committee on 27 November 2012.
At the event, we aim to highlight and discuss the issues surrounding the effective implementation and impact of the active inclusion strategy, as well as the processes of social innovation as a means to deliver active inclusion. Join social service providers and European stakeholders to hear the results of Eurofound’s major study in 11 EU countries on policies to integrate young people with health problems or disabilities into the labour market, and discuss with active social service providers, volunteering, education and training organisations how the EU’s active inclusion strategy has actually been implemented and learn about successful examples of innovative social services and lifelong learning for active inclusion.
