EMI Board approves new Membership of Direct Selling Europe (DSE)
At its meeting in Brussels on 14 March 2011 the Board of the European Movement International (EMI) approved the application for associate membership of Direct Selling Europe (DSE).
Founded in 2007 as federation of the sustainable, ethical and customer-oriented direct selling trade associations and companies, DSE members account today for about half of the turnover of the EU direct selling industry. They promote European integration, economic growth, stability and the development of the internal market.
DSE serves as an advocacy platform for its members and European consumers, seeking to provide information on the latest developments of the direct selling industry sector.
The EMI Board is pleased to welcome DSE as new member organisation and reiterated its objective to continue to expand the EMI network, currently already bringing together more than 70 Member Organisations from European associations, political parties and trade unions.
