Brussels – In the course of the Semi-Annual Meeting the board of the European Federation of Building Societies (EFBS) was re-elected.
Mag. Herbert Pfeiffer, Member of the Management Board of Prvá Stavebná Sporitel’ňa, a.s. (Slovakia), remains to be the President of the Federation.
Ing. Vojtěch Lukáš, Member of the Management Board and Deputy Director General of Stavební Spořitelna České Spořitelny a.s. (Czech Republic), was re-elected as First Vice-President by the members of the EFBS.
Dr. Hartwig Hamm, Director of the Bundesgeschäftsstelle of the Landesbausparkassen (Germany), was again appointed as Second Vice-President.

The European Federation of Building Societies is an association of more than 50 credit and other institutions in Europe and Mediterranean countries promoting and supporting housing finance.
Andreas J. Zehnder, Chairman of the Management Board and President of the Verband der Privaten Bausparkassen e.V. (Germany) has been heading the EFBS as Managing Director since 1993.
