National Security Authorities Conference
This conference will allow the national security authorities in the European Union Member States to exchange information and discuss topics related to the security of classified information.
Tuesday 6 April
10th anniversary after the signature of the Istanbul Convention
To mark the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Istanbul Convention, the Portuguese Presidency is organising a high-level conference to review the ten years of the Convention’s existence, including analysing the steps forward and steps backward, the challenges arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, and responses to the new forms of violence against women. The latter consideration interlocks with the basic priority of the European Union to put an end to all forms of violence against women and girls.

Roma healthcare inequalities
FRA will present results from its Roma and Travellers Survey during a webinar organised by European Public Health Alliance (EPHA). The webinar will explore systemic inequalities in healthcare as a major source of the social divide between Roma and non-Roma. It aims to increase understanding about the barriers that Roma face in access to healthcare, including health coverage and primary care. It will also reflect on policy solutions. The ultimate goal of this event is to mobilise policy and decision makers to tackle access to healthcare inequalities, and to strengthen commitments to the right to health.
The webinar with civil society organisations will take place on 8 April.

IMF Spring Meetings
The Annual Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) bring together central bankers, ministers of finance and development, private sector executives, civil society, media and academics to discuss issues around global economy, international development and the world’s financial markets in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The European Investment Bank (EIB) will be represented in the 2021 Annual Meetings through a delegation led by President Werner Hoyer and Vice-Presidents Ambroise Fayolle and Ricardo Mourinho Félix.

The investment landscape in Europe and the Netherlands Webinar
Organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy of the Netherlands, this webinar will focus on the theme of “Sustainable innovation, investment and entrepreneurship.” It will cover the European and Dutch investment landscape and how it is moving towards a more sustainable future.
Thursday 8 April
Private Sector Development in Morocco – Post-Covid-19 Challenges and Opportunities
Launch of the First Tripartite Report. The African Development Bank, the European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will present the first joint analysis on the challenges facing Moroccan businesses in the current health, economic and social crisis. It also outlines the opportunities available to them.
