European Movement in Albania (EMA) in the framework of the project “Supporting to the Network of the EU Info Points in University Towns of Albania” supported by EC Delegation to Albania (ECD), has the pleasure to invite you to the public lectures series on European Integration.
The public lecture will be focused on "The EU accession process: From Application to Membership", which will be held on Friday, 17 April 2009 at 10.00 hrs, University of Gjirokastra “Eqerem Çabej”.

The guest speaker will be H. E. Mr. Helmuth Lohan, Head of the European Commission Delegation to Albania.

Ambassador Lohan has a long career in the European Commission particularly in the economic domain. He has served as Head of Unit of “Economic Forecasts”. From 1991 to 1994 Ambassador Lohan has been working as Economic and Financial Counselor in the European Commission Delegation in Moscow. In 1996 Ambassador Lohan was appointed Head of Unit for Pre-accession programs in the European Commission. Since 2006, Mr. Helmuth Lohan serves as Head of the EC Delegation to Albania.
 
The activity will be opened with introductory remarks by Mr. Gëzim Sala, Rector of the University of Gjirokastra “Eqerem Çabej
