From the 4th – 6th of April the European Movement in Greece organizes a seminar on “The EU after the ratification. The Reform treaty of Lisbon and the Civil Society”.
Several working groups discussed already over the week-end how the EU will further develop after the ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon and which impact this will have on the Civil Society also under the circumstances of the current economic crisis.

In the frame work of the seminar Mr. Pat Cox, President of the European Movement International, will meet the President of the Greek Parliament, Mr. Dimitris Sioufas. Afterwards it is foreseen that Mr. Cox will address the audience of the seminar during the final plenary session.

A press conference will be held at the premises of the European Parliament in Greece on Monday 6th of April at 12:00 pm.
