Since 2000 the European Movement-Belgium organises with great success educational weekends (“Destination Europe”) about Europe, for youngsters from 17 to18 years old. This year, the EMB is happy to invite 70 pupils for a European week-end  that will take place from the 17th to the 19th of October in Ghent. The participants will be learning about the history of Europe, the institutions, they will meet a MEP, European journalists and other European personalities. Moreover, they will actively take part in group discussions about various aspects of European politics and actual debates. Youngsters from everywhere in Belgium (Flanders and Walloon) participate to this weekend. Through an educational but very playful and young approach, these pupils will become more conscious about the EU and the role it plays in daily life.
