The Mediterranean Afternoons offer you a series of conferences / dialogues on the relation between  Europe and the Mediterranean, at the hour of the lunch. This is an initiative of the European Movement-Belgium.

* Friday 12th of september, from 12:30 pm to 2pm: Mr. Philippe de Fontaine Vive, Vice-Chairman of the European Investment Bank, “FEMIP: Investing in the south of the Mediterranean: challenges and opportunities”.
The European Movement-Belgium, the MEDEA Institute (Institut Europeen de Recherche sur la Cooperation Méditerranéenne et Euro-Arabe) and the Arab-Belgium-Luxemburg Chamber of Commerce, have the pleasure to invite you to dialogue with Mr. Philippe de Fontaine Vive, Vice-Chairman of the European Investment Bank. This lecture will be held in French.

* Tuesday, 30th of September, from 12:30pm to 14pm: Mr. Hugues MINGARELLI (Deputy Executive Director in DG External Relations of the Commission): “Analysis Summit July 13: Barcelona Process, Union for the Mediterranean and South-North Dialogue on the Mediterranean”
Mister Mingarelli will talk about the most important points discussed at the Summit of July about the Mediterranean. In cooperation with the MEDEA Institute.
