Vartan Oskanian, former Armenian Minister for Foreign Affairs has joined the board of honorary members of EM Armenia in preparation for playing an active role.
Mr Oskanian has lived in Armenia since 1992, returning there shortly after independence. He became Minister for Foreign Affairs in 1998, has worked with the Nagorno Karabakh peace negotiations from the first days of the negotiation process and is involved in the Armenia Fund, channeling aid to the region. He speaks Armenian, English, French, Arabic and Russian.
