The President of the European Movement, Pat Cox, will speak at the opening roundtable at the official launch of the European Commission’s programme “Europe for Citizens” on the 10th of May, along with Ján Figel’ (Commissioner for Education, Training, Culture and Youth), Philippe Herzog (President of Confrontations Europe), Laurent Cohen-Tanugi (Member of the BoD of Notre Europe), Fintan Farrell (President of the Social Platform) and a representative of the European Anti Poverty Network.

The programme “Europe for Citizens” supports a wide range of activities and organisations promoting “active European citizenship”, especially the involvement of citizens and civil society organisations in the process of European integration. To learn more about it, click here.
