The International European Movement organises a press conference to raise public consciousness about the case of the five Bulgarian nurses who have been condemned to death in Libya.

The Press Conference will be chaired by Pat Cox and will take place in the Press Room of the European Parliament, starting at 10:30am on Thursday 19th April 2007.

The relatives of the five detained nurses will be present and a short summary of the documentary ‘Through the bars’ will be screened.

The Press Conference is organised with the support of the ALDE Group in the European Parliament and the participation of the other main European political groups.
