Eurodiaconia is pleased to invite you to our Webinar on the 2022 European Semester, which aims at providing you with a better understanding of the recently released Autumn package. We will also look ahead to the next steps of the European Semester and address possibilities for advocacy at European and national level.

The European Commission has released on 24^th November 2021 its so-called Autumn package, which launches the new European Semester cycle for 2022. The package includes, among others, the Annual Sustainable Growth Survey and the Joint Employment Report. During the webinar we will have a closer look at both documents, which contain relevant analysis and data referring to the European Pillar of Social Rights and can therefore well be used for advocacy work on social policies at EU and national level.

Furthermore, with the launch of the new Semester cycle a few changes to the European Semester have been announced, both in terms of procedure and content. Together we will have a closer look at those changes and what it means for our advocacy work.
