Informal meeting of agriculture ministers
The EU Member State Ministers of Agriculture will meet for an informal Council meeting of ministers.

Wednesday 9 – Thursday 10 February

Informal meeting of health ministers
The 27 ministers for health of the Member States will come together at this informal ministerial meeting to discuss ways to facilitate universal access to healthcare, based on an ambitious project for a “European Health Union”.

Sunday 13 February

Informal meeting of trade ministers
Trade Ministers will discuss trade issues and the main priorities of trade policy in advance of the formal meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council (Trade), which will take place in the second part of the presidency.

Monday 7 February

Borrell co-chairs the EU-US Energy Council and meets with Secretary of State of the United States
High Representative Josep Borrell will be in Washington to co-chair the EU-US Energy Council and meet with Mr Antony Blinken, Secretary of State of the United States.

von der Leyen receives the President of the Republic of Poland
President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen will receive Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland.

Urpilainen receives the Ambassador of Finland to NATO
Commissioner Jutta Urpilainen will receive Klaus Korhonen, Ambassador of Finland to NATO.

Tuesday 8 February

College meeting
At the College meeting, Vice-President Margrethe Vestager will present the European Chips Act.

Reynders receives the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights
Commissioner Didier Reynders will receive Dunja Mijatović, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights.

Šefčovič meets with Secretary General of the Élysée
Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič will meet with Alexis Kohler, Secretary General of the Élysée.

Wednesday 9 February

Jourová receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Commissioner Vĕra Jourová will receive Bisera Turković, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

von der Leyen, together with members of the College, visits Senegal
President of the Commission Ursula von der Leyen, together with members of the College, will visit Senegal.

Thursday 10 February

The EU Banking Reform Package
The public hearing will provide the views of institutional and civil society stakeholders, and will help form the policy recommendations the EESC is drawing up on the legislative proposals currently under discussion.

Friday 11 February

Public Hearing on Foresight
The hearing will consist of two panels, each concluded by a discussion among the speakers and attendants. The first of the two panels will discuss the role and the best possible involvement of civil society organisations (CSOs) in participatory foresight while the second panel will give the floor directly to representatives from CSOs to present their own views on the present and next Strategic Foresight Report.

9th Meeting of the Green Deal Going Local working group
The members of the Green Deal Going Local working group will, alongside rapporteurs of the European Committee of the Regions and the European Parliament, be discussing a central subject on the European agenda, “Fit for 55 – Reaching the 2030 targets”.

Friday 11 February

12th COTER commission meeting – Online
COTER Members will exchange views on the following opinions: a stronger EU engagement for a peaceful, sustainable and prosperous Arctic; small urban areas as key actors to manage a just transition.

Education and Training Working Group to discuss gender equality
The meeting will focus on gender equality in and through education. It will explore issues of gender differences in learning experiences and learning outcomes. It will also cover gender-based violence in and around educational settings. Representatives of Member States, European Institutions and EU Bodies will attend the meeting virtually.
