Breakfast Briefing on the German coalition negotiations
On 25 January 2018, the European Movement International held a Breakfast Briefing to discuss the German coalition negotiations with:
Bernd Hüttemann, Secretary General, European Movement Germany
Daniel Brössler, Brussels Correspondent, Süddeutsche Zeitung
Mr Hüttemann and Mr Brössler shared their insights into the negotiations between the CDU/CSU and the SPD, how such a coalition could affect German politics and what a new grand coalition in Germany could mean for the EU in a time of intense debate around the future of Europe.
After the initial overview given by the two speakers, the floor was opened for questions, allowing for a discussion with all participants.
