In light of the celebrations surrounding Europe Day (9th of May), the European Parliament in Strasbourg opens its grant doors to the public. What is the best way to experience these festivities? Be part of it!

The European Movement-Belgium (EMB) and the JEF groups in Leuven and Gent present to you a weekend filled with European discoveries. We offer you training sessions to complement your professional expertise, a chance to talk to some MEPs, a visit of the beautiful city of Strasbourg, a meet-up with the local JEF section, an organized trip to the Open Doors Day in the European Parliament and a visit of the House of Schuman OR European Court of Justice.

• Training session 1 >> “Become a debating pro” with Sarah Dejaegher
  Do you want to develop even more skills when getting your point across in a debate? Led by professional speaker Sarah Dejaegher you’ll work on specific cases to improve your skills. Ready to become the new speaker in town?
• Training session 2 >> “Lobbying inside the EU: How?”
  The world of lobbying is not easy to comprehend, especially when trying to find a way in. Do you like to know how organisations influence policy and to what result? Learn more about this in an informal setting!
