On 18 October 2017, the European Movement International held another Breakfast Briefing, this time to discuss the upcoming European Council meeting with Stefaan De Rynck, Advisor to Michel Barnier, the EU’s Chief Negotiator for Brexit.

Mr De Rynck shared his insights into the agenda of the European Council on 19-20 October and updated the participants on the EU’s current position and strategy in the Brexit negotiations. After an initial overview, the floor was opened for questions, allowing for an off-the-record discussion with all participants.
