Investing in the Future of Europe – Vienna
The European Movement International (EMI) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) held another event from the series of ‘Investing in the Future of Europe’, this time in close cooperation with the European Movement Austria in Vienna on 17 October 2018.
Speakers from all sides of society gave their perspective on how to invest in the future of Europe and how governments, employers, unions and civil society can all contribute to the debate about the EU (and how it invests). The event was held in Vienna and was the seventh in a series of joint events (EMI + EIB) that started in 2017, which have taken place in various cities in the EU and neighbourhood countries. In essence, the events are designed as an opportunity to discuss the benefits of European integration.
More specifically, the panel, which was moderated by Wolfgang Böhm, Head of the Europe desk, Austrian daily “Die Presse”, brought together a wide variety of viewpoints about the future direction of the EU.
Please note that the discussions for this event were held in German.
