Talking Europe with Maciej Popowski, Acting Director General of DG NEAR

On Monday, 22 November from 16:30-17:30 CET, we held the tenth edition of Talking Europe organised in partnership with the European Commission, this time featuring Maciej Popowski, Acting Director General of DG NEAR. This series of online events launched in 2020 aims to discuss the EU’s work and how it affects all Europeans.

Our guest Maciej Popowski, Acting Director General of DG NEAR, discussed the recent work of DG NEAR, including the state of the enlargement and neighbourhood policies in the European Union, the promotion of EU values in Europe’s eastern and southern neighbourhood and the recent developments in the accession countries.
