On Thursday, 16 September from 14:00-15:00 CEST, we held our eighth edition of Talking Europe organised in partnership with the European Commission, this time featuring Salla Saastamoinen, Acting Director General of DG JUST. This series of online events launched in 2020 aims to discuss the EU’s work and how it affects all Europeans.

Our guest Salla Saastamoinen, Acting Director General of DG JUST, discussed the recent work of DG for Justice and Consumers, including the state of the rule of law in the European Union, the promotion of gender equality and women’s rights, as well as the Conference on the Future of Europe and developments around the New Consumer Agenda.
