Media Dialogue project aims to strengthen the national media environment in Kyrgyzstan by engaging media outlets, decision-makers and civil society in a dialogue to identify the challenges faced by the media sphere and which harness their potential in promoting media policy and reforms in the sector. 

The project will offer a series of grants to media organisations active in the Kyrgyz media space or to consortia of such organisations which are actively involved in advocacy actions and public awareness campaigns, thus promoting reforms and modernisation in the media sphere, in line with global trends and international standards. The grants programme is managed by ALDA – European Association for Local Democracy.

The main objectives being the promotion of freedom of expression, high quality journalism, values content delivery, access to information and all the constituents of a free and democratic media environment, we warmly encourage stakeholders producing content in the Kyrgyz language and operating in regional markets to apply!
