ALDA: Sustainable energy project ENLARGE is looking for your participatory practices!
The project ENLARGE, a two-year initiative funded by the Horizon 2020 programme, is launching a call for participatory practices in the sustainable energy field. All stakeholders (local authorities, civil society organisations, business sector, etc.) are invited to share successful (and not successful) practices. Please fill in the template available on the project website by 15 March 2017 and send it via email to contact@enlarge-project.eu.
By submitting your practices, you can also ask to become “Supporting Partner” and engage in the project to benefit of the following opportunities:
- Participate in the “Deliberative Event” in Milan in October 2017. The event will bring together more than 100 representatives of local and regional authorities, civil society associations and the business sector;
- Develop with us a local dissemination event on participatory processes in energy policies: specific resources have been dedicated to this by the project;
- Join a wide network of local and regional authorities and civil society organisations with good practices on energy policies and benefit of the knowledge transfer;
- Test innovative tools provided by the CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure) book on citizen involvement on local sustainable energy policies.
ENLARGE is a two-year project funded by the Horizon 2020 programme aiming at at exploring existing models of participatory governance in the field of sustainable energy and, in particular, their legitimacy, effectiveness, sustainability and success mechanisms, by drawing together theoretical knowledge and on-the-ground experiences. The key outcome will be the production of an interactive knowledge tool for raising awareness among public administrators about different alternative participatory approaches, methodologies and tools and the potential consequences of these alternative scenarios based on concrete experiences and pragmatic examples.
To submit your practices, please see the template on ENLARGE project website; for any questions or further information, please contact the Project Coordinator Ms Erica Melloni: contact@enlarge-project.eu
