CEC: Report: Leadership in Times of Coronavirus
While death and infection rates in Europe seem to be declining, policymakers and managers are putting in place recovery efforts. To succeed in bringing public health and socio-economic interests together, strong and sustainable leadership is needed. Against that background, the landmark report “Leadership in Times of Coronavirus” by CEC European Managers gives a comprehensive overview on the pandemic, its effects, as well as concrete measures taken by European governments and business managers.
The current crisis is in many ways a convergence of various crisis. It is a test for the capacity of our health systems, but also for the resilience of business models. Without a sound assessment, clear criteria and public debate, the risk is high that we take short-sighted decisions for generations to come. We have to draw the bigger picture.
The CEC Report “Leadership in Times of Coronavirus” brings together structured European-level information, the results of a survey among 700 European managers, experiences from CEC member organisations, intermediate conclusions, as well as an outlook on the next steps to take in Europe.
