The European Movement in Italy recalls that, within the monetary union that has become a constitutive element of the European Union, all governments and institutions which are in charge of the government of the single currency, have a collective responsibility in ensuring the maintenance and effective management of the monetary policy and in preventing crises that could compromise its strength and the citizens’ trust.
