Digital revolution for the European Movement in France
The French branch of the European Movement has recently launched its newly redesigned website, made possible through a successful crowdfunding initiative in 2017. The redesign includes a new brand image aimed at modernising the site and making it easier to keep up to date with their network and their actions across France.
Online news reflects each of the three main axes of the Movement: educating citizens on the European Union, animating public debate on Europe in France and proposing solution to advance the EU’s development. The new site will help solidify the Movement’s presence in the regions of France, with an increased spotlight on news and events from its 52 local chapters and 20+ associated member organisations.
Last Wednesday also marked the launch of the French European Movement’s new participative web platform, named EuroClic. Focusing on citizen’s experiences and views on Europe and with contributions from professors, volunteers, advocacy groups and universities, EuroClic will go beyond the political developments of the day to feature articles on society, culture, the economy, and the environment, all from a citizen perspective rather than an institutional one.
