In 2022, France will preside over the European Union for six months. Many projects have been prepared for the Conference on the Future of Europe. They clearly indicate the ambition that European Democrats have: a strong Europe in a highly competitive world, but a Europe that protects everyone and believes in progress.

Our party and its French member, the Mouvement Démocrate, intend to tackle these six months of the Presidency. Bearing in mind that great ideas must serve the European project, throughout these last months we have been able to meet in order to exchange and put forward concrete proposals. These have resulted in a White Paper gathering 12 key recommendations on education, health, agriculture and foreign policy.
