Belgian bank governor to be keynote speaker at ELEC dinner

Luc Coene, the governor of the National Bank of Belgium, will be the keynote speaker at the annual dinner on occasion of the year-end gatherings of the European League for Economic Cooperation in Brussels. “The Limits to Monetary Policy” is the timely topic of his speech.

The dinner bridges the meeting of our Monetary Commission on “The deflation danger and what to do about it” on Thursday December 4th 2014 and the meeting of ELEC’s Central Council on Friday December 5th. The dinner is strictly reserved for participants in one of the two meetings. Invitations and registration forms for the year-end gatherings will follow soon.
