EM Denmark: A task force of young students teach Danish schoolchildren about the EU
The Danish European Movements EU-Taskforce is a group of volunteers with great knowledge of European affairs, who engages in teaching Danish schoolchildren on European themes and issues.
The objective of the project is to communicate the EU to the oldest primary school pupils in an interesting and inspiring way to raise European awareness among the pupils and qualify them to take an active position to the EU. The volunteer teachers are who are interested in the EU and would help to raise awareness about the EU, and to acquire some experience with teaching and communication.
The 4th of February the Danish European Movement held a workshop for the new volunteer teachers, typically university students, with participation of among others the Danish commissioner Margrethe Vestager.
