On Tuesday, 18th October, the latest EM Germany De-Briefing on European Trade Policy took place at the Representation of the European Commission in Berlin. Ignacio Garcia Bercero, EU Chief Negotiator for the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership with the United States (TTIP), Lutz Güllner, Head of Communication at the Directorate General for Trade of the European Commission, as well as Dr. Berend Diekmann, Head of Unit at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, spoke on recent developments and future prospects in regard to the negotiating processes of CETA and TTIP, respectively.
