The EU is the embodiment of European values, it is founded on the ideals of peace, democracy, freedom, prosperity, security, solidarity, equality.

These very things are under threat today, attacked by authoritarian politicians with extremist ideologies.

If we are to preserve these values we must stop taking them for granted, we need to stand up and defend them, celebrate them, make them the core of all our campaigns.

To that end, the European Movement International, with the support of the European Investment Bank, is producing a series of animated videos, to showcase what lies at the core of the European project and remind us the importance these values have in our lives, not least as European citizens are deciding how to vote for the European elections.
