European Movement Germany elects new President
On 2 July, this year’s European Movement Germany General Assembly took place. The meeting brought together delegates from 244 affiliates to elect a new board and to elect a new President. We would like to congratulate European Movement Germany on the election of their new President, Linn Selle.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Selle stated that it “is time to focus our individual interests in order to preserve and strengthen the European idea. It is up to each and every one of us to contribute to a better society, to a still strong and united Europe.”
European Movement President Eva Maydell, speaking at the European Movement Germany General Assembly, emphasised the importance of contributing to a united Europe. Ms. Maydell stated that “the stakes are high and it is up to us to act with unity, solidarity, boldness and vision for our Europe.”
