Call for Nominations

The annual SOLIDAR Silver Rose Awards were launched in 2000 to raise awareness of organisations and individuals who have significantly contributed to improving social justice and equality around the world. This year’s ceremony is scheduled for mid-February 2015 (date to be confirmed as soon as possible).

As member, partner or friend of SOLIDAR we would like herewith invite you to propose candidates by using the attached SOLIDAR Silver Rose Nomination form. You may nominate either an organisation or an individual to be rewarded for their significant achievements that have contributed to social justice in Europe and Worldwide.

The Silver Rose Awards ceremony will take place in the European Parliament. We would be honored shall you be able to join us. Of course, this will be followed-up with an official invitation later this month, with the confirmation of the exact date.

The deadline for the submission of your nominations has been set on 28^th November 2014 allowing enough time for the Jury to start the procedure of selecting the awards in the 3 categories, see the letter attached for more detailed information. The jury will be composed of Members of the European Parliament and Representatives of Civil Society Organisations.
