YFJ: A new vision for the next four years, a new policy paper, resolution and declaration, as well as growing membership

Our bi-annual Council of Members (COMEM) arrived in Amiens, France, this month, taking place 21-23 November. Once again the agenda was full of big topics to discuss as young people from all over Europe came together to debate and put forward their ideas for the future work of the European Youth Forum

We are very excited that as a result of these discussions and a wider consultation with our members, the European Youth Forum has a new Strategic Plan. This vision document will guide us for the next four years on how we will represent the rights and interests of young people. Thank you to everyone who helped us to shape this Strategic Plan. We can’t wait to get to work!

The COMEM also approved a policy paper on one of the big challenges that we are facing, the Future of Work. This new policy paper follows the Youth Forum’s publication, “The Future of Work and Youth”, and outlines how we must ensure that all young people’s social and economic rights are met as the world of work changes.
