CNUE: First Edition of Notaries of Europe Open Days

To mark the European Day of Justice, the CNUE organised the first edition of the Notaries of Europe Open Days. The European Day of Justice is a European Commission and Council of Europe initiative celebrated every year around 25 October.

The initiative aims to bring justice closer to European citizens, to inform them of their rights and the tools available to them to facilitate their access to cross-border justice. It is open to all European citizens, students and people working in the field of justice.

For these Open Days, sixteen CNUE member notariats (Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain) agreed to organise over 200 free events for citizens, employees, entrepreneurs, students and the retired between 24 October and 26 November 2016.

The activities available included information sessions, conferences and free consultations, at which several thousand citizens had the opportunity to find out about their family situation and property status. The full list of events is available here.
