Since January, the Irish national council of the European Movement has launched a video competition which will continue until Europe day. This competition aims to bring out contestants’ creative, fresh and inspiring ideas on Europe through the making of their own video clips. They will be made public on one side of Temple bar, the cultural heart of Dublin.  The idea behind this initiative is that of stimulating debate and reflection among citizens through these thought-provoking clips.

On the 7th of May, EM Ireland will also be present in the rest of the country to talk to locals about Europe and what it does for them. They will be asked to answer four simple questions on a postcard on which they can express their ideas on the EU, so that they get thinking about Europe.
