The Basque Council of the European Movement is spreading the rules of the VIII FRANCISCO JAVIER DE LANDABURU UNIVERSITAS PRIZE AWARD, whose aim is to boost the research and studies about European integration process.

The research subject chosen this year is: “The economic and financial crisis: the role of the European Union”. Graduates are invited to participate, be it on a personal basis, or as part of a team.

The participants should send a research Project to be developed, once it has been awarded, in an essay form. The written article should be between 25 and 50 pages. The total grant amount is of 10.000 €. This will be divided as follows:

–    FIRST AWARD: 4.000 € for the best research project.
–    THREE RUNNERS-UP PRIZE of 2.000 € for the three research projects selected by the Jury.

DEADLINE TO PRESENT THE PROJECTS: 27th February 2009, 12:00 pm.
