On Thursday 7 January 2016, a Special Event took place titled “One Year after Charlie Hebdo: Responding to Terror in Europe”, with the participation of Mrs Michèle CONINSX, President of Eurojust, Professor Henri LABAYLE, Professor of Law, Univérsité de Pau et des Pays d’Adour, Director of CDRE (Bayonne) and of the GDR “Droit de l’Espace de liberté, sécurité, justice”, and Mr Gilles de KERCHOVE, EU Counter-Terrorism Coordinator.

Ms Lucie-Belle DISSIRIER, Student of the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies, College of Europe, Bruges Campus, gave a student perspective on the issue.
