The ELDR Party Spring Council meeting will take place in Rome (Italy) on 12th March 2010 at the Hotel Nazionale, Piazza Montecitorio 131, I-00186 Rome between 14:00 and 17:30.

A seminar about freedom of press entitled "Freedom of press in Europe: Differing perspectives" will take place between 10:00 and 11:30 on Saturday 13th March. This seminar is open to Council delegates and guests and the press. Interpretation is foreseen in Italian and English.

The seminar will be preceded at 09:15 by a presentation on the recently adopted Italian fiscal amnesty law that allows Italians to repatriate money invested abroad by paying a tax of 5%.
