Save the date: Amsterdam Monetary Commission, March 14^th 2014

Dear ELEC friend,

May I already draw your attention to a meeting of our Monetary Commission next year? On Friday March 14^th , 2014 , the commission will convene in Amsterdam. The subject will be “business models in banking”.

Differences in business models have always existed in the banking world: saving banks, retail banks, investments banks, cooperative banks, bancassurance , shadow banking … But the crisis has learned that these differences matter more than ever before. Not all banks have been equally affected by the crisis, nor have they been equally responsible for it.

So, ample food for thought and debate on March 14^th ,2014.
