The European Movement in Armenia, represented by President Viktor Yengibaryan has been elected to the Governing Council of the Millenium Challenge Account – Armenia. The Council is composed of 12 voting members, including the Prime Minister, 6 Ministers and 5 representatives from civil society. 5 Civil society organizations which have now their votes in one of the biggest projects of the country, have been elected from the stakeholders council (15 voting members) of the project, which is elected by almost 400 national NGO’s.
