To celebrate the European Year of Creativity and Innovation, the Basque Council of the European Movement is organising, on the 16th of February, a one day event conference in the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao.
This conference’s purpose is to boost creativity and innovation as means to successfully face the current crisis and avoid the pessimist attitudes that lead to racism and xenophobia.

Creativity has always been one of Europe’s main characteristics. The European Union is a unique model of political integration developed to avoid wars, a model that has now a new commitment: to boost creativity and innovation in the economical sectors, in order to protect our social model and respect diversity.
 
Some experts as Pedro Miguel Etxenike, Ramon Marimon, Manolis Antonoyiannakis, Cayetano López, Fernando Quezada and José Lorenzo Vallés will take part in this important debate on: How to face the crisis developing creativity and innovation?
