COUNTING DOWN TO THE EUROPEAN ELECTIONS / CALENDAR FOR YOUNGSTERS – starts on February 27

On the occasion of the European Elections, the European Movement Belgium, in cooperation with the King Baudouin Foundation and the Brussels-Europe Liaison Office, developed a calendar for students between 18 and 24 years. This calendar counts down to the elections, starting 100 days before. This calendar offers a fun educational tool that wants to inform and sensitise young people for the European elections of June 7, 2009. Using cartoons, , information on the EP, portraits from young peoples, etc … it tries to get young people to think more conscious about the elections, the European Parliament and the importance of their vote!

This calendar is for young people (age 18 to 24 years), who will vote for the first time. The calendar will be distributed across Belgium, in schools and youth organizations. There will also be an online version at the website www.mouvement-europeen.be More information? info@europese-beweging.be
