EM France – The Third Europe Forum, 17 April 2010 in Strasbourg
Europe: a heritage, what responsibilities?
After Lille in 2007 and Lyon in 2008, the Europe Forum will take place this year on Saturday, April 17 2010 at the Palais de la Musique et des Congres in Strasbourg, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Entry is free and open to all.
The Europe Forum is conceived to be above all a place for debate open and accessible to the general public on the major European challenges. The Europe Forum is organized by a civil society initiative through a pluralist and independent approach with cooperation from national, local, and European authorities.
Organized on one day, the Europe Forum is divided into three essential activities:
A large conference in the form of two plenary sessions and 18 workshop-debates (three sessions of 6 concurrent workshops) jointly organized by the Europe Forum partners on the theme of European responsibility. The debates will be organized according to a set of requirements that will ensure lively exchanges and balanced genders, generations, political orientations, and nationalities (at least one non-French person per workshop).
At the same time, fun activities such as a literary café, the European Village, a simulation of the European Parliament, exhibitions, and games for children will be offered.
Organised by EuropaNova, Mouvement Européen-France and Notre Europe.
