A TV debate between Spitzenkandidaten on Primetime – this is what associations and youth organizations in Germany called for in an open letter to the public-legal media ARD and ZDF.

For the EM Germany President, Linn Selle, this call demonstrates a clear commitment to the mission of the public broadcasting institutions. After all, citizens should not only make their voices heard, they should above all be informed and participate in the European elections. That is why EM Germany is one of the first signatories to the appeal, and thus supporter of a democratic competition based primarily on accurate information and on the fight against misinformation.
