EM Spain – Touring exhibition: 60 years of the European Movement in Spain
At the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Spanish section of the European Movement, a touring exhibition will be shown in Alicante, Las Palmas, Santander and Tarragona. It will take place in cultural centres and universities in order to be available to the wider public. After these “stopovers”, the exhibition will tour the European institutions of the Community of Madrid.
Both, graphically and audio-visually, it will provide a retrospective of the Spanish European Movement from its constitution until today, especially emphasising the Hague Congress, the Munich conspiracy and the present European Movement.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Monday to Friday with an inauguration and closing ceremony gathering high level representatives from the participating cities.
The main objectives of this project are to spread the pro-European spirit and make the European Movement better known to other non-profit organisations, institutions and, above all, to the civil society in general. Around 10.000 visitors are expected.
