The European Movement UK has a new leadership team, elected at the meeting of its National Council on Saturday 3 October.

Re-elected as chairman was Peter Luff; Veronica Stiastny was re-elected as one of the two vice-chairmen, with Richard Corbett elected as the other; Richard Laming and Brendan Donnelly were re-elected as secretary and treasurer respectively.  Other members of the National Executive are Alan Bullion (representing the Branches Forum), Lina Ohltmann (president of the Young European Movement), Claude Kauffmann, Petros Fassoulas, and James Siddelley.

The political officers were also re-elected.  Rt Hon Charles Kennedy MP was re-elected president, and the two vice-presidents continue to be Rt Hon Kenneth Clarke QC MP and Rt Hon Baroness Joyce Quin.
