A campaign for the next European elections: “It’s time for change! It’s time for Europe!” has just been launched by JEF as result of a long consultation process inside the organisation and also with other youth NGOs.
The main idea is that after many years of intense discussion about the institutions, it’s time now for the European Union to take concrete actions on the matters that European citizens are really concerned about. That’s why JEF Europe has adopted a short  Manifesto containing a few concrete proposals to be adopted by the new European bodies and will ask the candidates to express themselves in favour of these proposals.

In the context of this campaign JEF will organise pan European street actions in order to give a real European dimension to these actions.

The launch event is planned for Friday, the 12th of December at 12h00 in every European city where a few activists will participate and stand on one of the main squares of these cities with clocks and a banner saying that “it’s time for change”. As in last year, all the pictures and movies of the actions will be spread out on the internet.
